Why do I always blame myself whenever something bad happens? Why is it always me who is at fault? Why am I so kind to others that I neglect it’s their fault and take the fault on myself? The terrible thing is I’m always blaming myself. I need to stop this. I’m super annoyed by myself. This sounds like an endless loop.

The title that you chose is right, self-blame is harmful. I think the reason why you blame yourself even when you’re not at fault is because it’s so much easier. It is easy to blame ourself for something or things we have no control on, easy to blame ourself when someone gets hurt, especially when that person makes you feel like the villain. You have to try telling yourself that it’s not always your fault if something goes wrong. I know it’s easier said then done, but you have a right to not be blamed ( not sure if that makes sense but I hope you get the point). Try not to blame yourself all the time k? ^^

Thanks for your kind words. It’s strange how my brain seems to be hardwired to direct the fault at myself. I need to always remind myself I am not always the one at fault. Gah! I just wish I was stronger. I watch people around me and i found many of them easily blame others whenever something goes wrong. That way they feel better.
